There’s no doubt that Blackmarket pre-workouts are a continued customer favorite.
Most of their labels are goal specific, making it easy to choose the pre-workout that is specifically geared towards your personal goals. Two of their pre-workouts that are commonly confused though are the CUTS and TONE.
Is one for men and the other for women? Is one stronger than the other? Which pre-workout is better?
Here I have a quick breakdown of the similarities and differences by ingredients and a brief flavor breakdown in order to help you choose the right pre-workout for you and your personal goals.
Key ingredients found in Blackmarket Cuts and the benefits that they offer
Raspberry Ketones – Offers metabolism support and works as a fat burning accelerator.
300mg Agmatine Sulfate – Nitric Oxide enhancer. Increases blood flow within the muscles.
300mg Acetyl L-Carnitine HCl – Supports increased brain function.
Mucuna L-dopa – This is an herbal supplement that works as a mood enhancer.
Key ingredients found in Blackmarket Tone and the benefits that they offer
L-theanine - When combined with caffeine, these ingredients allow extreme energy without the feeling of overstimulation. L-theanine has been known to enhance mood, focus, and brain function.
Biotin (100% DV) - Supports healthy hair, skin, and nails.
CLA – Aids in fat cell metabolism.
Green tea extract - Promotes weight loss and blood sugar regulation.
Pomegranate Extract, Acai Berry Extract, Blueberry Extract – These are all powerful antioxidants.
L-Citrulline Malate – Nitric Oxide enhancer, supports blood flow within the muscles.
Caffeine 300mg – Energy.
Beta-alanine - Aids in muscle endurance. This is also the ingredient that causes “tingles” or “itchiness” on your skin. This sensation is harmless and should subside within 30 minutes of consumption.
L-Carnitine Tartrate – This helps convert fatty acids into fuel.
Choline Bitartrate – Choline has been proven to support brain health and function.
In my opinion, both of these pre-workouts supply enough energy and focus without a crash to get you through any workout. They also both offer other unique benefits too as outlined above.
Ultimately, Cuts is aimed more at fat burning, and Tone is promoted as being a pre-workout that also offers beauty benefits; however, they do share similar ingredients.
If you are looking for a pre-workout that offers a wider variety of Nitric Oxide boosting ingredients, I would recommend their AdreNOlyn line.
By this point, you probably have a good idea of which pre-workout is right for you. I realize that flavor often plays a role in this decision too though. For that reason, I have included a quick breakdown of all the flavors currently offered in these pre-workouts and my personal ratings for each.
